Time Event
12:30p
Hayes Green, San Francisco

It's the view of the pagoda thru the public kaliedoscope at Hayes Green !

The HAYES GREEN is a brand new City of San Francisco Parks and Recreation park.
It is located at the north end of the new "Octavia Boulevard", which is the
former location of an overhead off ramp from the 101 freeway to Fell and
Oak streets. Razed like the 380 freeway around the Embarcadero some years
earlier, it embodies the recent San Francisco municipal tendency away from
freeways in city planning. In the HAYES GREEN, an ephemeral pagoda by an
artist named David Best sits thru the end of September, with invitations
to all to autograph and decorate the temporary installation before
it is removed.
HAYES GREEN snapshots from Sunday, August 28.
